Welcome to House of Travel Orewa

At House of Travel Orewa we see the way of planning travel has changed, for the better! We make time to talk about your travel plans, hear what you really want to achieve, listening to your plans, really listening!

You will feel this from the moment you engage with our passionate travel team - be that by phone, email, video call or appointment to meet at our round table, in our smart new Orewa office - we don’t pretend to be doing travel, the old way.

We do work by appointment, so you know you have the right consultant to suit your travel plans and that we are available, rather than taking the chance by just walking in.

This allows us to enhance the travel ideas you have, to use the wide-ranging travel experience of our team to add ideas and suggestions, as well as the travel details that our customers sometimes ‘don’t know, that they don’t know’. And to be there for you, through the planning, right throughout your travels.

We love nothing more than to continue combining “your ideas, with our knowledge, better holidays”, better, together.

Orewa locals for over 20 years, House of Travel Orewa value our community, immensely. We have sponsored and supported Hibiscus Hospice, Orewa Bowling Club, Whangaparaoa Golf Club, Wainui Golf Club and Hibiscus Rodders, over the years.

We look forward to meeting you soon, to take your travel plans that next step, forward…

Meet the team

Although, my book of business is full, I will share my experience, so one of my team can pick up and finalise your plans, for you. I’ve been a part of the travel industry for over 40 years and continue to love talking travel, to me it is all about enriching my team and our clients experiences.

I started in travel in my native Norway and I have worked in various other European countries along the way. I have been with House of Travel for nearly 10 years now and I love working with my clients, to take their plans and aspirations, and turn them into a travel reality. I look forward to meeting you.

Originally a travel consultant in South Africa. Travelled through Africa, USA and parts of Europe and Asia, we recently had a few days in Singapore, as a stopover (to SA, of course).

When you think Italy you probably think Ferrari. Well, we think you should choose... Vespa! Italy is home to one of the most historically beautiful countries and monuments in the world. Flying by in your Ferrari won't let you enjoy the views. Slow down and take it in with a 2-wheeled wonder. The urban streets filled with culture and the Italian countryside, either of which are perfectly suited for the iconic moped and is definitely a must-do on your bucket list.
